Our Patented, color-coded, UV resistant PVC MUUDS Markers are a new and unique way to mark the exact depth of underground utilities. They are excellent way to prevent future excavation disasters. The highly visible and completely weather and mildew resistant orange nylon webbing exposed during excavation allows the digger to find the exact horizontal and vertical position of any underground utility before any damage can be done. The #600lb breaking strength webbing is a tracer cord attached to the bottom of the marker, to guide operators and laborers back to the marker when it is exposed during excavation. The depth measurements on each marker are etched in and not simply printed, making them durable for decades. The colored markers are 1.25" diameter solid wall PVC available in lengths from 24" to 120". The color is mixed during extrusion for color all the way through the PVC - not painted on. The markers are available in every APWA recommended color to match the utility type.
